70th anniversary of SI Club Turino will be streamed Saturday 13 March, from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. on YouTube SoroptimistItalia channel and Club’s Facebook.
Here’s the program of the event:
- Leila Picco, past President of the Italian Union of Soroptimist and member of the Club, presents her book on the origins and the founders of the Club.
- “Regine di denari. The right to count”, a workshop on the role of financial education for women – one of the main issues of the Italian Union of Soroptimist for this biennium – as a tool for empowerment with specific reference to the post-pandemic context.
- A short monologue on “Women, money, taboo” by actress and playwright Elena Ruzza, with whom the Club has recently started an inspiring partnership.
- Inauguration and visit of the exhibition “Il Volto delle donne – The other face of history” showcasing our service for the Musei Reali: the digital cataloging of a series of ancient and modern coins and medals from the Museums’ collections representing female figures, both ideal and historical, who symbolized or exercised considerable power.
