The Education Foundation of the Soroptimist International Union of Norway was established in 1985. The fund supports women’s education in developing countries. The foundation aims to financially assist women’s education and training, prioritizing those lacking resources. Applications require recommendations from Soroptimist clubs (SIAF or SIE)

Since 1990 the fund has assigned 1535 scholarships, here represented by Dr. Mary Kerich, Chair Scholarship and Mentorship of the Eldoret Club in Kenya, and students Tracy Chemtai and Ruth Jelimo.
