In 2025, we focus on education. While women are excelling academically, barriers still limit their career choices, leadership opportunities, and economic independence. Education must not only empower women—it must lead to equality.
The Numbers Speak for Themselves
- Women make up just 20% of ICT graduates and 35% in engineering, reinforcing occupational segregation.
- The EU gender pay gap remains 12.7%, with women overrepresented in lower-paying sectors.
- If Europe doubled women in tech to 45%, it could add up to €600 billion in GDP.
