Thanks to recent donations from the Union of Norway and SI Larvik (Norway), the Soroptimists of Gisenyi (Rwanda) are making a significant progress in supplying drinking water to a village in a remote area. And Norway is definitely in the spotlight! The members of SI Mo i Rana (Norway), for their part, financially supported the project of the French Club of Béthune, which aims to secure a boarding school that houses 34 young girls in Burkina Faso. Finally, the Soroptimist solidarity knows no borders and goes beyond Federations! Indeed, the Soroptimists of Muskogee (USA), supported the project of SI Val Brabant-Waterloo (Belgium) which promotes the rights of young domestic workers and contributes to their education in the Democratic Republic of Congo. All these projects still need donations to be finalized and more are awaiting funding to get started.

What if the next club to offer support was your club?
